Today Jordan leads Kris through the Implicit association test (IAT), and the implications that this test has for our society. Are we testing to see our underlying prejudices, or is it being used as an inquisitional bludgeon as a tool of those seeking power.

Some of the world's most heinous atrocities are carried out by governments who exploit the implicit biases of it peoples in order to garner support for their use of force. In today's episode, Kris and Jordan discuss how conflict can be enabled by our collective ignorance of latent predispositions. Although our innate nature can and does deceive us as a function of our biology, we are far from powerless to override those systems.

It is Kris's determination that unconscious bias drives many other prejudices, hence the imperative to pay it more attention.
