Dubbed "Frogpondia" by Edgar Allan Poe, Brook Farm West Roxbury was a short-lived Transcendentalist Utopian Communal experiment with some well-known Massachusetts intellectuals involved. The preserved site is in the center of an enormous cemetery complex, worth a visit for many reasons.
