From BASIC to Beast Mode: Video Poker on LLVM-MOS

Listen Later

In this video, I take my Video Poker project—originally written in SuperBasic on the Foenix F256K2—and give it a serious power-up by porting it to LLVM-MOS, a modern C toolchain for 6502-based systems.

👉 I’ll walk through how I moved the game logic into C, highlight the differences between coding in SuperBasic vs. LLVM-MOS, and show why this toolchain opens up faster and more flexible development for retro-inspired hardware.
