Happy Resurrection Sunday! Today we concluded our "From Beginning to End" series with a powerful truth: Jesus is everyone's Savior, but He's not everyone's Lord. The difference? Our obedience and surrender.
When Jesus declared "It is finished" on the cross, He wasn't ending something—He was completing a work that continues to impact us today. The Greek word "tetelestai" means it has been, is, and will always be complete. Your healing, forgiveness, and salvation were secured at Calvary.
But here's the question that challenges us all: Why do we keep calling Him "Lord, Lord" when we don't do what He says? (Luke 6:46) Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. That means we must continually keep our spiritual garments clean through surrender and obedience.
What will your choice be today? He stands at the door and knocks. Will you open it and make Him not just Savior, but Lord of your life—from beginning to end?
