Cs: V malebné uličce Prahy byla kavárna, kam lidé rádi chodili na ranní kávu.
En: In a picturesque alley of Praha, there was a café where people loved to go for their morning coffee.

Cs: Uvnitř kavárny to vonělo po čerstvě mleté kávě.
En: Inside the café, it smelled of freshly ground coffee.

Cs: Mezi stoly a šumící konverzací se pohyboval Jiri, pozorný barista.
En: Amidst the tables and buzzing conversation, Jiri, an attentive barista, moved about.

Cs: Byl to mladý muž s velkým snem.
En: He was a young man with a big dream.

Cs: Chtěl být umělcem.
En: He wanted to be an artist.

Cs: Ve volných chvílích kreslil do svého notýsku portréty hostů.
En: In his free moments, he sketched portraits of the guests in his notebook.

Cs: Anna do kavárny chodila skoro každý den.
En: Anna visited the café almost every day.

Cs: Měla ráda kávu i klidné prostředí kavárny.
En: She loved the coffee as well as the peaceful environment of the café.

Cs: Byla přátelská a vždy někoho pozdravila.

En: He was doing a detailed portrait of Anna.

Cs: "Musím to zkusit," rozhodl se Jiri, i když se bál.
En: "I must try," Jiri decided, even though he was scared.

Cs: Ukázal Anně svou kresbu.
En: He showed Anna his drawing.

Cs: "Anna, mohu ti něco ukázat?"
En: "Anna, could I show you something?"

Cs: Otevřel notýsek na straně s jejím portrétem.
En: He opened the notebook to the page with her portrait.

Cs: Anna zůstala zírat.
En: Anna was stunned.

Cs: "Je to krásné, Jiri!
En: "It's beautiful, Jiri!

Cs: Máš opravdu talent."
En: You really have talent."

Cs: Jiri se nervózně usmál.
En: Jiri nervously smiled.

Cs: "Můj přítel má galerii.
En: "My friend has a gallery.

Cs: Mohla bych se ho zeptat, jestli by tam mohl tvou práci vystavit," navrhla Anna.
En: I could ask him if he could exhibit your work there," Anna suggested.

Cs: Jiri nemohl uvěřit.
En: Jiri couldn't believe it.

Cs: "Opravdu?
En: "Really?

Cs: To by bylo úžasné!"
En: That would be amazing!"

Cs: vyhrkl s úlevou a štěstím.
En: he exclaimed with relief and happiness.

Cs: Za několik týdnů bylo v malé galerii na rohu výstaviště.
En: A few weeks later, there was an exhibition in a small gallery on the corner.

Cs: Jiriho kresby visely na stěnách.
En: Jiri's drawings hung on the walls.

Cs: Lidé přicházeli a obdivovali jeho práci.
En: People came and admired his work.

Cs: Jiri byl nervózní, ale také hrdý.
En: Jiri was nervous, but also proud.

Cs: Konečně se mu splnil sen.
En: His dream had finally come true.

Cs: Přestal pochybovat o svých schopnostech.
En: He stopped doubting his abilities.

Cs: Cítil se inspirován.
En: He felt inspired.
