  • S1E2 Dr. Nicole Ryerson - Mentee : Mentor

We’re so excited to have Dr. Nicole Ryerson with us in this episode.

Dr. Ryerson is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Penn State Lehigh Valley. She participated in research as an undergrad at Penn State Schuylkill where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She went on to earn a master's and PhD in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Statistical Analysis from the University of Alabama. Dr. Ryerson has been at Penn State Lehigh Valley since 2019 and now, as a faculty member, is passionate about getting students involved in research.

Join us for this great conversation about key From Concept to Creation threads and themes: mentoring from both sides--as a student and as a faculty member; persistence in the face of challenges; the importance of learning about process, sometimes even above content; and more.

Do you have stories you’d like to share about mentoring, your experience learning about the research process, or your persistence in the face of research challenges? We’d love to hear from you. Contact co-hosts Kate Morgan and Jen Jarson at [email protected].
