Special 2 part series: I shared Sam’s story in August of 2022. A mix of marriage, divorce, betrayal, domestic violence and military court with those closest to him on the outside sharing his story and being his voice and advocate. Now, two years later, I have the honor of sitting with Sam after his release from his guilty sentencing. 1 in 9 men within the military will be victim of domestic violence in their lifetime, and only 8% report. Part 1 we discuss the relationship (rise and fall), how the military approaches and lacks assistance for men in specific for domestic violence cases, and life after release.
