I’ve told you before about the time I got by eating granola bars and drinking water for several days. Truth is that starting a business isn’t always sunshine and rainbows. There are tough times, especially at the start.

You can work an extra job if you are really strapped for cash, learn to live below your means, pick a business that you really believe in enough to go hard and love what you do.

Finally, keep your mind on the things that really matter. There’s no point in getting to a million dollars in a year if you spend it all and end up hurting yourself and your business because of it. Keep your head in the game and protect your business and your money. The important part is to learn how to make the business last.
