Do you know there is an inherent power identified in the title “helpmeet?” Eve is a significant example of the power God authorizes women to use as we save, deliver, rescue and guide His children. This is not a passive help that women are relegated to do. God empowers us, His divine daughters, to actively work as earthly saviors and ministering angels to the women and men, children and youth, strangers and friends in our families and communities.
We stand face to face with God, shoulder to shoulder with each other, and are quite possibly the greatest secret power within God’s kingdom on earth! Because of the example of our mother Eve and our Savior, we can step with confidence into the sacred role of helping others along the journey home with His promised power and authority poured out upon us.
In this episode we will be taking a fresh and bold new look at the first name given to Eve by God. God’s vision for Eve, and by extension for each of His covenant daughters, is powerfully expressed in the name Ezer Kenegdo. Please like and share with another strong woman if you enjoy the personal application of these insights from Eve’s story found in Genesis 2:18 (see also Abraham 5:14, 21; Moses 3:18, 20).
