From Failing Hands

Mike and John are back to bring some comfort to your ears during this seemingly long but well deserved all-star break for both us and the players. We recap the last two weeks while Mike was away on warm Hawaiian islands and John was skiing to his destinations around Montreal, the successful month of January that everybody was afraid of, Paul Bryon's suspension, Josh Gorges retiring and John's Twitter bracket tournament masterpiece of Marc Bergevin's best moves!

This week, Mike is joined by fifteen-year veteran Martin St. Pierre who shares some really great stories about the NHL, his time with the Habs, Blackhawks, Bruins, Sens and tails from the KHL!

In the continuation of last week's sit-down between Mike and John, they deliver their top three picks for first half Habs MVP of the 2018-19 season!

In Part 1 of this two-part special, Mike and John talk about "instant reaction" by fans, specifically after a close, hard fought road loss to the power-house Tampa Bay Lightening. They also have some fun going through their list of top 5 first half Habs MVP's by giving us their #5 and #4 picks. Picks #3, #2 and #1 are coming at you next week!

This week, Mike and John get deep about possible missing pieces to the Habs defence, what the idea of watching your favourite team "tank" means, where do you point the finger when it comes to the power-play, Jesperi Kotkaniemi and our picks for the Habs first half MVP.
