Melanie Rouse is the founder and managing director of one of Harcourt’s largest property management franchises nationally looking after more than 3000 properties. She is co-owner of Private Property Management in Auckland and the National Property Sector Group representative for the REINZ. She’s also a member of NZ Property Council and winner of the NZ Property Council’s Women in Property award for outstanding contribution to the industry. Melanie’s talent lies in maximizing the return for the property owner due to her extensive experience in all facets of the real estate industry.

In this episode of ‘From Failure to Fabulous’ Nikki talks with the Chief Executive of the Real Estate Institute (REINZ), Bindi Norwell about why trying to ‘time the market’ in the context of the New Zealand property market is almost always doomed to fail. She has a strong background in digital media and technology and more than 25 years experience in property, professional services, telecommunications and aviation. She’s been the Chief Executive of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) for the past three and a half years.

Ashley Church is one of New Zealand’s most recognizable and experienced property commentators and a former CEO of the Property Institute and Auckland Property Investors Association. In this episode of from ‘Failure to Fabulous’ Nikki and Ashley go to the heart of the post-lockdown property market with in-depths discussions on property values and lessons from the GFC and international markets.
