Cs: Po Praze se jemně snášel sníh, pokrýval střechy a tichými ulicemi probíhal studený vítr.
En: Snow gently fell over Praha, covering the rooftops, while a cold wind swept through the quiet streets.

Cs: V prostoru volební místnosti na rohu náměstí to dnes vypadalo jinak.
En: In the space of the polling station at the corner of the square, things looked different today.

Cs: Zdobené větvemi smrkového chvojí a červenými a zlatými světýlky, místnost přetékala vánoční atmosférou.
En: Decorated with spruce greenery and red and gold lights, the room overflowed with a Christmas atmosphere.

Cs: Smích a hřejivé pozdravy naplňovaly vzduch, ignorující chlad venku.
En: Laughter and warm greetings filled the air, ignoring the cold outside.

Cs: Jakub stál na prahu svého bytu a hleděl na svět pokrytý bílou peřinou.

Cs: Potom oči zavřel, zhluboka se nadechl a dovolil si malý krok vpřed.
En: Then he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and allowed himself a small step forward.

Cs: Když stiskl kliku a vešel dovnitř, pocítil klid.
En: When he pressed the handle and stepped inside, he felt a sense of calm.

En: It was now clear to him that he needn't fear the steps ahead.

Cs: Byla to zkouška, která ho zocelila a připomněla mu, že síla nevždy spočívá v těle, ale v duši.

En: Jakub knew that he had overcome his fear and that new challenges awaited him on the horizon, which he would face with hope and determination, just like today.
