Story Transcript:
Sk: Marek sa prebral skoro ráno.
En: Marek woke up early in the morning.
Sk: Slnko ešte neprešlo cez husté koruny stromov dažďového pralesa.
En: The sun had not yet passed through the dense canopy of the rainforest.
Sk: Zo stanu vykukol prvý a cítil vlhkosť a chaluhou napustený vzduch.
En: He peeked out of the tent first and felt the moist, seaweed-infused air.
Sk: Jeho srdce bilo rýchlo.
En: His heart was beating fast.
Sk: Dnes bol deň, kedy sa mal zúčastniť na tradičnom ceremoniáli domorodej komunity.
En: Today was the day he was to participate in a traditional ceremony of the native community.
Sk: Elena sedela pri ohni s Janom.
En: Elena was sitting by the fire with Jan.
Sk: Jan bol miestny vodca a učiteľ.
En: Jan was the local leader and teacher.
