From Genesis To Revelation

In this episode, we begin the Gospel of Luke with chapter 1, where the story of Jesus’ arrival is set into motion through miraculous announcements and faithful obedience. The angel Gabriel appears to Zacharias, foretelling the birth of John the Baptist, and later to Mary, announcing that she will give birth to Jesus, the Son of God.

This chapter is filled with themes of faith, humility, and God’s faithfulness to His promises. Mary’s response of surrender and worship, along with Zacharias eventual praise, highlights the importance of trusting God even when His plans seem unexpected or impossible.

Luke 1 reminds us that God is always at work behind the scenes, preparing His purposes and inviting us to respond with faith, obedience, and praise.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 15 and 16, bringing the Gospel of Mark to its powerful conclusion. These chapters recount the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ — the foundation of the Christian faith.

We see Jesus endure suffering, rejection, and the cross with humility and obedience, as He is crucified and laid in a tomb. But the story does not end there. On the third day, the tomb is found empty, and the resurrection is announced, declaring victory over sin and death.

Mark 15–16 reminds us of the depth of Jesus’ sacrifice and the power of His resurrection, offering hope, forgiveness, and new life to all who believe.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 13 and 14, where Jesus speaks about future events and prepares for the final moments leading to His crucifixion. In chapter 13, often called the Olivet Discourse, Jesus warns of coming trials and emphasizes the importance of staying watchful, faithful, and spiritually ready.

Chapter 14 shifts to deeply personal and powerful moments — a woman anoints Jesus, the Last Supper is shared, and Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemane. We also see betrayal, arrest, and denial unfold as Judas betrays Jesus and Peter struggles with fear.

Mark 13–14 reminds us of both the urgency of staying prepared in our faith and the depth of Jesus’ sacrifice, as He willingly walks toward the cross with obedience and love.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 11 and 12, where Jesus enters Jerusalem and the final phase of His earthly ministry begins. His triumphal entry fulfills prophecy as crowds welcome Him as King, yet tension quickly grows between Jesus and the religious leaders.

Jesus cleanses the temple, calling out the misuse of God’s house, and teaches powerful lessons through parables about faithfulness, authority, and the consequences of rejecting God’s messengers. When questioned by religious leaders, Jesus responds with wisdom, emphasizing the greatest commandments: to love God fully and to love others.

Mark 11–12 highlights Jesus’ authority, His challenge to empty religion, and the call for genuine faith expressed through love, humility, and devotion to God.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 9 and 10, where Jesus continues to reveal both His divine glory and the true cost of discipleship. The chapter begins with the Transfiguration, where Jesus’ divine nature is revealed to Peter, James, and John, strengthening their understanding of who He truly is.

As the journey continues, Jesus teaches about humility, faith, service, and the importance of removing anything that leads us away from God. He also addresses topics such as marriage, welcoming children, and the challenge of letting go of worldly wealth, highlighted by the encounter with the rich young ruler.

Mark 9–10 reminds us that following Jesus requires humility, sacrifice, and a willingness to place God above everything else, trusting that true greatness in God’s kingdom is found in serving others.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 7 and 8, where Jesus challenges religious traditions and continues demonstrating the power of God’s kingdom. He teaches that true purity comes from the heart rather than outward rituals, confronting the hypocrisy of those who focus only on external rules.

We also see powerful examples of faith as Jesus heals the sick, restores hearing and speech to a man, and miraculously feeds four thousand people. In chapter 8, the disciples begin to understand more clearly who Jesus is, culminating in Peter’s declaration that Jesus is the Messiah.

Mark 7–8 reminds us that faith is not about appearances or tradition alone, but about a transformed heart that recognizes who Jesus truly is and follows Him with trust and obedience.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 5 and 6, where Jesus continues to demonstrate His authority through powerful acts of healing, deliverance, and provision. He frees a man possessed by many demons, heals a woman who had suffered for years, and raises a young girl back to life — showing His compassion and power over both sickness and death.

We also see how people respond differently to Jesus. While many come to Him in faith, others doubt and reject Him, even in His hometown. Jesus sends out His disciples to continue the work of ministry, and the chapter concludes with the miraculous feeding of the five thousand.

Mark 5–6 highlights both the power of faith and the challenge of unbelief, reminding us that Jesus’ authority reaches every part of life and that trusting Him opens the door for transformation.

In this episode, we read Mark chapters 3 and 4, where Jesus continues His ministry with authority and growing influence. He heals on the Sabbath, appoints His twelve apostles, and faces increasing opposition from religious leaders who question His power and motives.

Jesus then begins teaching the crowds through parables, including the well-known parable of the sower, explaining the different ways people respond to the message of God’s kingdom. The episode concludes with Jesus calming a powerful storm, revealing His authority even over nature.

Mark 3–4 highlights both the growing faith of Jesus’ followers and the resistance of those who refuse to believe, reminding us that the condition of our hearts determines how we receive God’s truth.

In this episode, we begin the Gospel of Mark by reading chapters 1 and 2, where the ministry of Jesus begins with urgency and authority. After His baptism and temptation in the wilderness, Jesus starts preaching about the kingdom of God and calling His first disciples.

These chapters highlight Jesus’ power through healing, casting out demons, and forgiving sins. As crowds gather, we also begin to see tension grow between Jesus and the religious leaders who question His authority. Mark 1–2 introduces the fast-moving story of Jesus’ ministry and reminds us that He came not only to teach, but to bring healing, forgiveness, and transformation to those who follow Him.

In this episode, we read Matthew chapter 26, where the events leading to Jesus’ crucifixion begin to unfold. The religious leaders plot against Him, while a woman anoints Jesus with expensive perfume, preparing Him for what is to come. At the Last Supper, Jesus shares a final meal with His disciples and institutes the practice of communion, pointing to His body and blood that will be given for the forgiveness of sins.

We also see the deep humanity of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane as He prays before His arrest, submitting fully to the will of the Father. Judas betrays Him, and Jesus is taken before the religious authorities while Peter struggles with fear and denial. Matthew 26 reveals both the faithfulness of Christ and the weakness of humanity, reminding us of the sacrifice Jesus willingly made on our behalf.
