From Getting Fired to a 7 figures Fashion Brand in 2 years with Stephanie Hoyte

Listen Later

Stephanie Hoyte, a Barbadian who moved to Jacksonville in 2014, has emerged as a successful entrepreneur and business owner. After losing her job as a business manager in December 2020, Stephanie decided to pursue her dream of growing a successful black-owned business. She opened a kiosk at the Orange Park Mall for two months and quickly expanded to a brick-and-mortar store, which made over $160,000 in eight months. Her online business made over $400,000 in 2021.

Stephanie's brand, Fashion Dollz Boutique, aims to help women look fabulous and educate them on how to take care of their bodies after plastic surgery. After having plastic surgery herself, Stephanie realized that many women struggle with maintaining their results and developed a product called an ab board, which she patented and sells alongside waist trainers. She also teaches women how to start and run successful businesses, collaborate with well-known people, and become a better version of themselves.

Throughout her journey, Stephanie learned the important lesson of not asking for permission to pursue her dreams and just doing it. She believes in investing in oneself and not being afraid to start. Despite minor obstacles, 2021 has been the best year of her life, and she credits her success to great leadership from her mentors. Stephanie is passionate about expanding her business, helping more women, and teaching them how to overcome obstacles while running successful businesses.
