How often do we tend to remain focused on the past and not recognize the ability to move forward. We make excuses for our inability to progress based on events and circumstances that happened previously, use that to stoke our fear of even trying to advance.

This podcast explores the concept of leaving the past in the past and while not ignoring the outcome, learning from it and applying the lessons learned to current or future opportunities.

Many Teachers feel they can do by themselves and leave teaching to pursue other opportunities. Others fear leaving, although unhappy and unfulfilled, and remain year after year feeling miserable about their decision.

In this episode, I share a story of my own awakening to the importance of having someone guide me through a situation where I did not clearly see how my actions would impact the eventual outcome.

This podcast shares mistakes that I personally made. One is when attempting to secure employment with a large global company as the head of training. The other example is when I was a consultant for a multi-national company. In both instances, I made a similar mistake that resulted in losing opportunities I could have/should have achieved.

I share this with you in the hopes of using my own experience as a lesson for you to be aware of and avoid committing yourself.
