Do not miss reading this one . . .

This is a MUST read for: 1) anyone who has suffered the trauma and shame of childhood sexual abuse, and 2) anyone who knows and loves someone who has been subjected to sexual abuse, and would like to better understand his/her journey. It is a topic most dare not even whisper to another soul. This book gives a Voice back to such abused individuals. Mary's candid life story has the potential to open a locked doorway through which a wounded reader might dare to enter, and thereby, to also remember . . . to also heal. The book is incredibly transparent, brilliantly written, and powerfully relevant for many - too many - who share the "mayhem" of childhood sexual abuse. I highly recommend this book as another step toward personal healing, or perhaps, to buy as a gift. I know Mary Manna. Her life lived before others is inspirational and astounding! GOD's grace, His Divine healing, and His boundless love are now infused into the fabric of Mary's daily life and ministry. Her authentic joy is contagious and splashes all over those who are fortunate and blessed enough to encounter her. Mary Manna's painfully tragic past has given way to a powerfully triumphant present. From Mayhem to Manna could have been my own story in so many ways! Mary Manna and her tale of survival of all the things that could have left her bitter and downtrodden, turned all into God's glory and the story of someone who truly was changed by the power of Jesus Christ! This book has led me to a deeper prayer life, to enter therapy to begin working on my own issues, and to be thankful that I am a beloved child of God!
