This week Heaven discusses the beauty industry, and specifically how the beauty industry goes out of its way to make women feel ugly--everything from advertisers to influencers to beauticians, there are numerous ways the industry preys on women's insecurities to sell them things they don't need, and in turn, help contribute to low self esteem and body issues many people battle with every day. In the end, it contributes to the Capitalistic system where the rich, beautiful, and powerful stay on top and retain the status quo and the rest of us are made to feel awful about ourselves.

This week Heaven takes a closer look at the Dirtbag Left in a small mini series and sees how the influence of Leftist podcasters plays a role in political discourse as well as pop culture using Chapo Trap House as an example. To support her argument, she references the 1993 David Foster Wallace essay, "E Unibus Pluram" as well as Father John Misty to highlight how irony is often misunderstood, and isn't nearly as detached as many would find it to be, that even through irony sincerity can still shine through.
