We must “befriend” the uncomfortable sensations we feel in our bodies, such as the tension in our muscles, tightness in our chest, and even painful sensations throughout our bodies. Our bodies “keep score” of the traumatic experiences we go through. Even if we mentally recovered from something it still weighs on our bodies until we learn to release and let go.
