After working for 10 years to achieve her dream role as a Paediatric Community Nurse in the North East of England, Cheryl was forced to medically retire. What followed was heartbreak, depression, and the feeling that her life had been stripped away.

But Cheryl didn’t let cancer define her story. Instead, she found strength in building a new life — launching a small business selling wax melts, candles, and gifts, writing her bucket list, and achieving one of her biggest dreams: paying for her entire family to go to Disneyland with the money she earned herself.
