What should happen to Manchester City following the 115 charges case? Dan and Ron disagree over whether the consequences being discussed are too severe or don't go far enough.
Before football takes over the episode, Dan and Ron ask why people are so fascinated by old things. From record players and vintage clothing to iPod Shuffles and Walkmans, why do people still love technology and styles from the past?
That leads to HMV somehow surviving while Toys R Us disappeared, bicycle theft, the pros and cons of home CCTV and Dan's excessive collection of more than 20 pairs of shoes. Dan also reveals why his Gucci Princetown slip ons might be one of his most questionable purchases.
Ron then discusses a potential first lads holiday to Benidorm before the conversation turns to allegations surrounding a Bath University rugby club initiation.
Football takes over as Dan and Ron discuss Manchester City's financial-rule case and disagree over what they think should happen to the club.
Finally, The Sh***est Game returns with university degrees. Dan delivers a 3–0 whitewash, finishing Ron off with Ron's own Media Production degree, before they discover some even stranger courses, including Puppetry and Horology.

Could you actually live in Australia when the wildlife alone sounds like something from a nightmare? And should we be taking the potential dangers of artificial intelligence more seriously?
Dan and Ron start by discussing podcast host stereotypes before Dan talks about reconnecting with a friend visiting from Australia. Having completely changed his lifestyle and become sober, Dan explains why seeing an old friend who remembers a very different version of him can feel surprisingly awkward.
That leads into whether either of them could actually live in Australia. They discuss the weather, culture, dangerous wildlife and spider ballooning, where spiders use strands of silk to travel through the air.
The conversation moves through worldwide fashion and Japanese car culture before turning to AI. Dan and Ron discuss why artificial intelligence has become such a major talking point, the extreme predictions being shared online and whether people really understand what the technology could mean for the future.
Finally, The Sh***est Game returns, and this week Dan and Ron have to decide which carrier bag deserves the title.

How much can losing 8 stone change your life? And can an Arsenal fan convince Ron that Arsenal aren’t as frustrating to watch as he thinks?
Steven Irani joins Dan and Kieran for the first time to discuss his experience with weight loss jabs after starting them in December 2025. Steven explains how his experience has been, the impact losing 8 stone has had on his life and why he feels much happier since making the change.
The conversation then turns to regional food after Steven tries his first Parmo during his visit to the North East, leading to a debate about everything from haggis to Blackpool rock.
Then football takes over. Steven, Dan and Kieran give their thoughts on the new Premier League season, newly promoted teams, transfers and their predictions for how different clubs could perform.
As an Arsenal fan, Steven also finds himself defending his club as Ron explains exactly why he can’t stand watching Arsenal play. Finally, the lads get onto penalties, Panenkas and some of the most ridiculous penalty techniques they’ve seen.

How does working the door of a nightclub lead to modelling, acting and eventually television? Les Langley joins Dan and Ron to tell the story of a career filled with unexpected opportunities and being in the right place at the right time.
Les takes us back to his early career in hospitality across the North East before explaining how a chance encounter with a photographer while working at a nightclub unexpectedly opened the door to modelling and extras acting.
That eventually led to The North East Football Show, which Les helped take from interviewing people within local football to securing a regular slot on local television.
Les also takes us behind the scenes of his involvement with The Surjury, talks about being approached twice for Celebs Go Dating, and explains what life is really like as a hospitality area manager.
Later, the conversation turns to the less glamorous side of television and media, including preparing for public scrutiny, having his social media examined before appearing on TV and dealing with negative attention.

Do energy drinks actually make you feel more awake? What are the greatest biscuits and cereals of all time? And which soft drink deserves to be crowned the sh***est?
Dan and Ron kick things off with energy drinks and caffeine, including why Ron drinks Celsius and whether different energy drinks actually have any noticeable effect.
Then the food debates begin. They reveal their top three biscuits, revisit Angel Delight and work their way through some of the best and worst cereals, including the bizarre reason Sugar Puffs can apparently make your urine smell like the cereal.
The conversation then somehow moves onto modern baths, from bath tables and accessories to bath bombs and creams, raising one important question: have baths gone too far?
Finally, The Sh***est Game returns. This week's category is soft drinks, as Dan and Ron make their selections and try to avoid scoring points in the battle to find the worst of the worst.

What is the sh***est accent in the world?
Dan & Ron are back and The Sh***est Game returns for its second episode, with accents being pulled out as this week's category.
Before the game, Ron tells us about his weekend at York Ebor Festival, which gets Dan questioning something he’s never understood: why pay to attend live sporting events when the view is usually better from your sofa?
Things take a more serious turn towards the end as we discuss the passing of Dolly Parton and the tragic A66 crash.
Another episode of debates, ridiculous opinions and competitive stupidity with Dan & Ron.

Disney Drago. WBF Heavyweight Boxing. Arrested on suspicion of terrorism. The full story.
Professional heavyweight boxer Steven Robinson returns to People Like Us for Episode 157 with one of the most extraordinary stories we have ever had on the podcast.
Steven begins by reflecting on winning the WBF International Heavyweight Title in Germany and how that victory could open the door to a future WBF World Heavyweight Title opportunity. We also discuss fellow North East world champion Joshua Kelly and what could be next for Steven inside the ring.
Then Steven tells the full story of the past year.
After buying and using hydrogen peroxide to clean his teeth, Steven was arrested on suspicion of terrorism following a police investigation. He recounts arriving home to a major police presence, being detained, spending around 20 hours in custody and going through multiple interviews before eventually being released on bail.
Steven explains how the investigation continued for months, how he later obtained legal representation and how the case ultimately resulted in a charge relating to possession of a large quantity of hydrogen peroxide without the required licence rather than a terrorism offence.
We also discuss Steven’s theory about whether investigators may have been interested in people he knew who were already serving prison sentences. This remains Steven’s personal interpretation of events rather than an established fact.
Later, we talk about privacy concerns surrounding Meta smart glasses, hydrogen peroxide and teeth whitening, before Steven reflects on the mental strain the investigation placed on both him and his family.
We finish by looking ahead to what could be the biggest chapter yet in the career of Disney Drago.
