Welcome back to the podcast, everyone! After unexpected things forced me to skip the podcast for 2 weeks, I am very happy to be back with y'all and share what is on my heart this week! 

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13 KJV

If you've been in church any length of time, you have probably heard this scripture. I've always heard it applied to Jesus and His great love for us that led Him to lay down His life for us on the cross. However, after a recent study and discussion with my husband, I've started looking at this verse very differently. 

Jesus was the dearest Friend to me and showed such great love toward me when He laid down His life for me and my sins. I want to repay Him in any way that I can. I want to be a friend to Jesus, and this verse tells me how I can do that. The greatest love that I can show to my Friend Jesus is to lay down my life for Him. Not necessarily in a physical sense, although it may come to that one day, but in my day to day life. I can lay down my life at His feet and allow Him to live through me and use me as a vessel and an instrument for His will.

Welcome back! In today's episode, I discuss 3 things that I have to implement in my life in order to foster growth in my spiritual life. 

I know that life can get really busy and hectic sometimes and, if we're not careful, we'll hit a plateau in our walk with the Lord. For me, I have found there are 3 ways that I can help myself get out of that rut and grow in my relationship with the Father. 

1. Slow down.
2. Swallow my pride. 
3. Dwell on Heavenly things.

Welcome back, everyone! Today is a very special day and I have known for a while that I wanted to release a new podcast episode today to celebrate this wonderful milestone! Today (the day of this podcast release) is October 11, 2024 and it is my "Born Again Birthday" as I like to call it! Today marks 5 years since the day that God so graciously saved my soul! It is such an important day to me and I thank God for it!
In today's episode, I wanted to share the my testimony of the last year (August 2023 through September 2024) and everything that God has done in and for me this last year. It's been a life changing time for me and I am so thankful for all that God has taught me and how He has grown my relationship with Him. Welcome back! I’m so thankful to the Lord that He worked it out for me to do 2 podcast episodes this month! I pray that I can continue to bring you content each month that will bless and encourage and motivate you! In this episode, I share their responses with you! I pray you are as blessed and helped by these as I was! It was such a good reminder of the common mistakes that moms make and helped me get back to being more intentional with this blessed calling God has given me. Motherhood is so crucial and I pray we take it seriously and work intentionally to do it as pleasing unto the Lord!

I’m a little sad to see this series end because I have enjoyed it so so much! But I’m also very excited to see what the Lord has in store next! I have a couple ideas and I’m praying the Lord has His will and way in it all!
