After years of running cooking workshops from her own home, Jackie Bastianon noticed she had grown a significant community following. That’s when she approached Georgia Fox and together, they decided to share their journey of sustainable cooking, eating and living and turned a hobby into a social enterprise.
Today, these two inspiring women run the PlantEd Project — a sustainable living brand bringing plant-based cooking, eating and living into the everyday lives of people in the Ottawa community.
In today’s episode, I talk to Jackie and Georgia all about the early beginnings of the PlantEd Project. We discuss inclusivity in the plant-based community and the importance of taking a compassionate approach. Jackie and Georgia also debunk the biggest misconceptions they hear about plant-based eating and living, and share their pro-tips for simple ways to eat more mindfully.
