In this episode, I sit down with Katrina Bell, who first started her candle-making business The Copper Bell in the fall of 2019 as a creative outlet on the side of her new day job in business development for a software company. But life, as they say, had other plans. Because just five months into her role the pandemic hit, and shortly thereafter the company let go of about 25% of their workforce, including her. So Katrina had two options: look for another day job, or go all-in on her business. She chose the latter. And what a whirlwind of growth it’s been for her since! Katrina gets real about why she chose to go all-in on her very new business, how she approaches change, and what she loves most about working for herself.
