Sl: ""Okej," mu je odgovorila ona.
En: "Okay," she replied.
Sl: "Ampak iskreno, ali želiš to?
En: "But honestly, do you really want that?"

Sl: Anže je tiho sedel, gledal v krožnik in čutil, kako rase napetost.
En: Anže sat quietly, looking at his plate and feeling the tension grow.

En: Suddenly, Tjaša stood up.
Sl: "Dovolj je," je rekla glasno.
En: "Enough," she said loudly.
Sl: "Anže ima nekaj, kar želi povedati.
En: "Anže has something he wants to say."
Sl: "Vsi so utihnili in pogledali Anžeta.
En: Everyone fell silent and looked at Anže.
En: His heart beat quickly, but he felt Tjaša's support, which was like a warm breeze at his back.
En: "I don’t want to just sit and nod anymore," he said with a trembling voice.
Sl: "Želim biti neodvisen.
En: "I want to be independent.
Sl: Želim svoja pravila.
En: I want my own rules."
Sl: "V prostoru je nastala tišina.
En: The room fell silent.
Sl: Nekateri so se počasi začeli nasmihati, drugi zavijati z očmi.
En: Some slowly began to smile, others rolled their eyes.

En: But what mattered was that Anže had spoken.
En: The afternoon drew to a close, and the sun began to set.
En: Anže and Tjaša headed back to the lake, where a small boat awaited them.
Sl: Sedla sta vanj in počasi odveslala stran od obale.
En: They sat in it and slowly rowed away from the shore.
En: "I think you're on the right path," said Tjaša, looking at the Blejski island bathed in the last rays of the sun.
Sl: "Ja," je pritrdil Anže.
En: "Yeah," Anže agreed.
Sl: "Hvala, ker si mi pomagala biti pogumen.
En: "Thank you for helping me be brave."
En: They sat in the boat and gazed at the blue expanse surrounding them.
Sl: Razumela sta, da jima bo jezero vedno nudilo zatočišče in prostor za premislek.
En: They understood that the lake would always offer them refuge and a place for reflection.
En: And so, they decided that from now on, they would support each other on their journeys to freedom and independence.
