Lv: Snieg smagi un klusi, kā svētdienas rīts.
En: It was snowing heavily and quietly, like a Sunday morning.

Lv: Mikaela, kuru ikviens sauca par Martu, stāvēja pie elegantā Art Nouveau ietves, kas sniedzās cauri Rīgai.
En: Mikaela, whom everyone called Marta, stood by the elegant Art Nouveau sidewalk that stretched through Rīga.

Lv: Ap viņu stāvēja viņas kolēģi, mākslinieciski apģērbti, katrs cerot rast iedvesmu starp šīm vēsturiskajām sienām.
