Mike Jelinek is a sober fitness coach that has come a long way and who wants to share his journey with the world! Mike describes himself as an alcoholic first and foremost that progressed to a 13-year heroin addiction. Multiple rehabs, jails, a short stint in prison, all mixed in with short periods of sobriety. He is a self-described late bloomer and got sober when he was 38 years old. Better late than never, Mike!
Mike spent over a year in a sober-living house and eventually returned as a mentor/counselor for the men in treatment, in that same house. This experience paved the way for Mike’s current coaching business and he continues to use the principles learned throughout his recovery to supplement and build upon his sobriety journey!
