Story Transcript:

Ar: كانت نسائم الخريف اللطيفة تداعب أوراق الأشجار المحيطة بمركز التأمل في جبال الأطلس.
En: The gentle autumn breezes were caressing the leaves of the trees surrounding the meditation center in the Atlas Mountains.

Ar: في هذا المكان الهادئ، جاء زيد، رجل محمّل بالحزن، يبحث عن السلام الداخلي بعد فقدان حبيبته.
En: In this peaceful place, Zaid, a man burdened with sorrow, came seeking inner peace after losing his beloved.

Ar: زيد جلس على حصيرة، يراقب السماء الزرقاء.
En: Zaid sat on a mat, watching the blue sky.

Ar: كان يبحث عن بعض الهدوء في قلبه المثقل.
En: He was looking for some calm in his heavy heart.

Ar: الحياة كانت صعبة، والألم لا يفارقه.
En: Life had been tough, and the pain never left him.

Ar: فجأة، سمع صوتًا مألوفًا.
En: Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice.

Ar: كانت ليلى، صديقة قديمة.
En: It was Layla, an old friend.

Ar: "زيد!" صاحت ليلى وهي تقترب.

Ar: رحّب بها زيد بابتسامة نصف خجولة، ولكن في قلبه تجدد الألم.

Ar: "لم أتوقع أن أراك هنا،" قالت ليلى وهي تجلس بجانبه.
En: "I didn't expect to see you here," said Layla as she sat beside him.

Ar: كان في عينيها حزن مشابه لما يحمله زيد.
En: There was sadness in her eyes similar to what Zaid carried.

Ar: بدأت ليلى تحكي عن حياتها، عن أخطائها وحزنها. ذكٌّرته بأيام مضت، بأوقات كانت تمتلك فيها الحياة معنى وسعادة.
En: Layla began to speak about her life, her mistakes, and her sorrow, reminding him of days gone by, times when life had meaning and happiness.

Ar: بينما كانا يتحدثان، انضم إليهما حسن.
En: As they talked, Hassan joined them.

Ar: حسن، الذي كان يحمل ماضيًا من الخلافات مع زيد، لم يكن زيارته متوقعة.
En: Hassan, who carried a past of disagreements with Zaid, was not expected to visit.

Ar: بوجود حسن، أصبحت الأجواء مشحونة بالتوتر.
En: With Hassan present, the atmosphere became charged with tension.

Ar: "سمعت أنك هنا، لم أكن متأكدًا إن كان يجب أن أأتي،" قال حسن.
En: "I heard you were here, I wasn't sure if I should come," said Hassan.

Ar: وكان في صوته شيء من الندم.

Ar: أثارت هذه الكلمات مشاعر مكبوتة داخل زيد، وجعلته يشعر بالغضب والأسى في آن واحد.
