There are some people who have certain gifts in working with those with special needs that makes me say to myself, “how do you do it!” To see what they’ll do and put up with, blows me away.
I know this is not true of all those who care for special needs individual. Some who do, have not heart for it. It shows up with abuse, lack of patience and no personal touch.
When a person is willing to put his financial and educational future on the line to create a safe place for those with special needs, it becomes obvious that for them this is a calling.
This is the story of our guest – Mark Minard.
In this episode you will hear a story of perseverance, courage, confidence, faith and downright passion.
Mark shares his journey with us of how he was able to take on the oppositions including the state, to get the okay to operate Dream Shine.
