This week's show is probably the least Whitecaps focused show in the history of FTBL.  In the spirit of #OffseasonModeYOLO we were joined by John Cullen.  John, who among other things, is a Whitecaps fan, a teacher, a curler, a musician, but perhaps is known by many of you as a stand-up comedian.

If you're looking for the latest in-depth analysis and news from the Whitecaps training camp then you're in the wrong place this week.  If, on the other hand, you're looking for random discussions of flannel shirts, Bond villians, Bronies and other equally fascinating topics, then you're definitely in the right place.

So, sit back, relax and enjoy the silliness.  Shows like this will be far and few between and next week we'll back to talking about more serious topics :-)

Despite being a young man, at his 21 years of age, Victor Blasco has experienced what many footballers go through in an entire career. Victor left his native town of Mallorca to join the prestigious Barcelona youth academy at the tender age of seven only to return years later and become a professional footballer in this hometown club.

Victor talks about his brave and difficult decision of leaving professional football in Spain searching for a better life and education in Canada and how the Vancouver Whitecaps gave him the opportunity of maintaining his dream of being a professional footballer alive.

Joining us in Part 1 (1'-23') to answer this question and more is David Skilling.  David owns the London-based Sports Brand Management and PR firm "Six of 1".  David has appeared and been featured on various media outlets including TalkSport, BBC Sport, CNN and CBC discussing the topic of sports branding.  Some of David's clients are well-known athletes including Ashley McIvor and Jay DeMerit, Pa Modou Kah, Martin Rennie, five-time boxing heavy weight champion Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield and 1992 Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell.
