  • They aren’t rejecting you…. It’s the idea

Sometimes what feels like rejection isn’t rejection of YOU—it’s rejection of an idea, a suggestion, or a perspective.

Everybody isn’t going to agree with your vision, your thoughts, or the way you see things. And that’s okay!

Don’t allow someone disagreeing with your idea to make you question your identity or your worth.

Learn to separate who you are from what you present. You can receive feedback without taking offense, and you can experience disagreement without feeling personally rejected.

Not every NO is a rejection of YOU!

  • It’s ok to step away….God is waiting

Sometimes you have to disconnect from everybody and everything to reconnect with God.

It’s okay to take time for yourself. It’s okay to step away from the noise, the responsibilities, the expectations, and even the people you love.

Rest isn’t selfish, and solitude isn’t loneliness.

Sometimes God wants your undivided attention—not your performance, not your productivity, just your presence.

You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup. Take time to be still, breathe, pray, listen, and allow God to refill you.

Remember, even Jesus withdrew to spend time alone in prayer. (Luke 5:16)

  • Don’t make a permanent decision in a temporary moment

It’s just a moment in time. Don’t allow one moment of temptation, frustration, hurt, loneliness, or weakness to cause you to make a decision that could permanently change your life.

We’ve heard it said: sin will keep you longer than you wanted to stay and take you further than you wanted to go.

Before you make that decision, stop and ask yourself: Is this temporary moment worth the permanent consequences?

The feeling will pass. The temptation will pass. The moment will pass.

You don’t have to make a permanent decision because of a temporary feeling.

  • What Spirit Are You Speaking From?

When you’re frustrated, angry, offended, or hurt… who’s speaking?

It’s easy to say something and justify it because of how someone made us feel—but what fruit are our words producing? And what spirit are we speaking from?

Before you respond out of anger or frustration, consider this: What if God spoke to you and dealt with you the same way you deal with other people?

Would you want the same tone? The same patience? The same grace?

Sometimes we have to look beneath the surface of our own reactions and check the spirit behind our response.

🍎 Check the fruit. Check your heart. Check your response.

  • Look Beneath the Surface

What you see on the surface doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Before you judge someone’s actions, attitude, silence, or response, take a moment to look a little deeper. There may be hurt, fear, disappointment, or a story you know nothing about.

Sometimes understanding requires us to stop looking at what someone is doing and start asking why.

👀 Don’t just look at the surface. Look beneath it.

  • It’s ok to move on

Sometimes moving on isn’t about being angry, bitter, or pretending something didn’t hurt. Sometimes it’s simply recognizing that you don’t have to keep carrying what hurt you.

Whether it’s a relationship, a situation, or even a thought you’ve held onto for too long—it’s okay to release it.

You can appreciate what was, learn from what happened, and still choose to move forward.

It’s okay to move on. 💜
