"Saskatoon Climate Hub is looking to mobilise people to ask the council not to penny-pinch when it comes to people and planet" - Mackenzie Burnett
Jory and Mackenzie, from the Saskatoon Climate Hub, talk about the city's emission reduction policy, the areas in which implementation is on schedule and the areas in which more needs to happen, the threats of potential budget cuts, the success so far in protecting key areas of spending, and one key thing that we can do to keep the Low Emissions Community Plan on track.
The climate hub can be reached at [email protected], and on Facebook and Instagram.
Their letter-writing event is at the Rusty Macdonald library on Saturday 12th August at 1pm. Letters need to be sent to councillors by 5pm on Monday 14th in order to be received before the next council budget discussions on 15th.
