🎙️ In this episode, we spotlight Ana Gabriela Urízar — a proud Guatemalan immigration lawyer making a powerful impact in the New York tri-state area. Her passion for defending migrants comes from her own journey: she arrived in the U.S. at just 14 years old. Since 2017, she's been practicing law with a focus on humanitarian cases, labor abuse, and guiding migrants through complex immigration processes.

Ana Gabriela educates her community on how to turn injustice — like unpaid wages — into legal opportunities. In today’s tense climate, where migrants often live in fear, she reminds us of the importance of knowing your rights and seeking help. Her work hasn’t gone unnoticed: she's been named one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanic Women in the U.S. and included in the prestigious 40 Under 40 list.

Her vision? A country where migrants live with dignity, without fear.
