I'm really sorry for the delay on this episode. I had a heck of a time with the production—corrupt audio files, unfortunate microphone issues, editing mishaps, etc. I'm no expert at this podcasting stuff. I'm building the plane as I fly.
Anyway, for this episode I wanted to talk about some ongoing labor issues with big casinos and take a metaphysical look at our ongoing sociological experiment around the craps table. Please remember, this podcast is for and about the craps community, not strictly about how the dice tumble (There's plenty of YouTube for that.)
Don't worry, I say plenty of weird stuff and make my usual fumbles along the way. I hope it entertains, enlightens, or just keeps you company for a small part of your day. I do this because I truly love being part of the craps community.

The table's heating up; it's time to buy in!
Craps on the Caribbean Sea! This episode documents my experience playing craps on a six night cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas.
I want to point out a mistake I made at approximately 19:33 in the episode. I say "place bet," but I should have said "pass line bet." I also make some of my usual fumbles along the way.

Great craps games happen when order wins out over chaos. In this episode I go through some of the social contracts that can keep a table hot or turn it into an iceberg.

I'm back! I sincerely apologize to the listeners of the show for being delayed the past few weeks. The craps community is amazing and I appreciate everyone who take the time to listen to each episode.
This week I call out Bally's Twin River and their leadership, Lee Fenton and George Papanier for reinstating the ridiculous open smoking policy at their casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Board of Health says it's a Lottery issue and the Rhode Island State Lottery Commission basically says that smoking in the casino is totally cool. Go ask players and any employees and they'll tell you a different story.

This is episode 3 of "From the Hook. A Podcast for the Craps Community." It's Saturday night at the casino!!!! More fun at the craps table with all sorts of characters. I navigate choppy gameplay and appreciate the people who make us laugh.
Who are the funny people you'd want to play craps with? Let me know at [email protected]
Please have a listen if you enjoy the game of craps and going to casinos I invite you to subscribe and leave a rating and review; I appreciate the feedback. I'm still new to this podcasting thing, so be gentle.
This is episode 2 of "From the Hook. A Podcast for the Craps Community." I made it to Bally's Twin River in Lincoln, RI for a few hours on New Years Eve. I talk about my craps session and spend some time wandering the sports book and the slots. The action was good and the people watching was better! I love New Years Eve at the casino.
Here's the link to the Small Town Murder podcast episode mentioned in the show.

Here's the first episode of "From the Hook. A Podcast for the Craps Community." This is a podcast created by a craps enthusiast interested in growing the game and exploring the sociology encompassing the table. In this episode, I lay out the basics of how I became interested in the game of craps, things I look for when approaching a table at the casino, and introduce a thought exercise about the people who surround us at the craps table.
I'm very much an amateur podcaster, but I tried my best to tell an interesting story and invite engagement from fellow craps players. I hope to post new episodes weekly.
