Holiday Fun with Episode 101 – Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together for a long… long talk about sports, and more, in the Land. At home, the Guys talk about the Deshaun Watson debut and big (sort of) win over the Houston Texans. The Guys also look back at a week that was good, but, could have been (or should have been) better for the Cavs after an ugly Sunday evening loss to the Knicks. On the Road (23:52), the Guys talk NFL storylines on one of the best Sundays of the season,  try to figure out which of the big games was the most important and whether the Cincinnati Bengals are for real. The Guys also discuss a wild college football weekend, the final playoff rankings and where Ohio State belongs before looking at the constantly shifting NBA playoff rankings with the first quarter of the season in the rearview mirror. In the final segment (40:22), the Guys go “On the Injured List” as Gerber recovers from surgery and hands the show over to Chuck and Danko to break down a couple of holiday movies (Snowed Inn Christmas and 8 Bit Christmas) they suggested Gerber watch during his recovery. Bottles Poppin… Its Episode 100! – Gerber, Danko, Chuck and Miller get together for sports talking and celebrating their 100th episode of the show. At Home in the Land, the Guys talk a good but tough week of wins for the Cavs and the upcoming week of tough games as the injury bug takes its bite. The Guys also talk the Browns improbable win over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the start of the Deshaun Watson era next week against the Texans and the current (2%) odds of making the playoffs. On the Road (23:25), the Guys talk NFL storylines, the struggling Bills, the week’s most impressive win and the week’s biggest loser. Then the Guys tackle the big picture impact of another bad Ohio State Buckeye loss to Michigan in the Game. After that, the Guys talk World Cup fever and Team USA’s chances of making it out of Group B. Errors and Omissions – Danko referenced Travis Henry while discussing the Titans, we think he meant Derrick Henry. He may have meant Travis Henry, a former NFL running back. Or, he may have meant Dr. Travis Henry, a board certified veterinary dentist and graduate of Michigan State University.

There are some problems, but Episode 99 ain’t one! – Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together for some pre-holiday sports talking (and more) in the Land. At home, the Guys look back at a bounce back week for the (possibly) too nice Cavs and try to keep things light while recapping another Browns loss. On the Road (23:41), the Guys look at surprise wins (Go Lions), a surprise blowout (Cowboys…) and MVP odds. The Guys then turn to college football and their predictions for The Game (spoiler alert… No one picked TTUN)  before looking ahead to Team USA’s first week at the World Cup. You got to Raise your Hands! Because its Episode 98! – Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together for a sometimes tough night of sports talking and other stuff in the Land. At home, the Guys work through a tough week, and four game losing streak, for the Cavs and a tough season and bad loss for the Browns. On the Road (23:12), the Guys talk NFL storylines, the odd Indianapolis Colts coaching hire, biggest winners and losers of the week and the teams most likely to make the playoffs as we roll past the midpoint in the season. The Guys also make their picks and preview the upcoming start of the World Cup. Off the Field (43:17), the Guys celebrate the culmination of Bruce week with a long talk about the new album – Only the Strong Survive. The Guys discuss Bruce choosing to cover Motown classics, their favorite things about Motown and Soul music, whether Bruce has the chops to pull off the vocals and then the room gets a little bit dusty as dads are discussed. Errors and Omissions –Browns have an OL named Jedrick Wills, Chuck keeps calling him “Jedrick Willis”… what you talkin about Willis? Danko referred to a member of the Cavs as “Stevenson”, we think he meant Lamar Stephens. There was an NBA player named DeShawn Stephenson who once claimed LeBron was overrated.

Get Outta here! Episode 97 -  Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together for another week of sports talking and other stuff. At home the Guys celebrate another perfect week of Cavs basketball, the big shot makers on the team and another tough set of road games next week. The Guys also talk winning Browns coming off last Monday’s big win over the Bengals, whether HC Stefanski was Michael or Fredo and look head to a tough match up next week against the Dolphins. On the Road (20:25), the Guys have a busy night talking about NFL moves at the deadline and a wild Sunday of upsets and almost upsets. The Guys also weigh in with actual evidence they may be smarter than the College Football Playoff committee before coming to terms with another Astros World Series Title and the need for forgiveness. The Guys also try to figure out what “culture” the Nets are trying to build in Brooklyn. Off the Field (41:41), the Guys help kick off the holiday season with their first ever From the Land - Boozies and Movies - to preview upcoming holiday movie releases, look back at classic holiday movies and discuss the upcoming slate of Lifetime Christmas rom-coms. For each category, the Guys debate what holiday cocktail would pair best or default to Christmas themed malt liquor. Errors and Omissions – Chuck referred to “Adam Sheffler” when discussing the NFL. We think he meant Adam Shefter. Adam Sheffler grew up in California, received his MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and his PhD in English from Harvard, but, does not appear to have any connection to professional football.

BOO! Spooky Halloween Episode 96! Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together for tricks, treats and sports talking in the Land. At Home the Guys start with a palate pleasing Sip of Wine and Gold and look back at an undefeated week for the Cavs, look ahead to the Browns Monday Night Football matchup with the Bengals and select a second favorite (hopefully fun) NFL team to follow for the rest of the season. On the Road (22:27), the Guys look at things that are scary bad… like the NFC South, the worst teams in the AFC and the worst teams in the NFC. Then, the Guys talk a BIG weekend in the BIG10 and predict the first College Football Playoff Rankings. Off the Field (37:57), the Guys wrap up the first season of House of the Dragon talking in game clock management mistakes, handing out awards and being 50 when the show ends before enforcing some integrity in the Worst Fantasy League Eva. Coming at you live (nope) Episode 95! Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together for another night of talking sports and other stuff. At Home, the Guys start low with a recap of the Guards ALDS loss to (F*ck) the Yankees and Browns after another close (but maybe not really) loss to the Ravens. But, things pick up as the Guys finally get to start talking regular season Cavs basketball and the first of many Sips of Wine and Gold. On the Road (25:34), the Guys talk NFL Week 7 and the brewing off the field owner fight and the McCaffery trade before heading on the field to talk quarterbacks who should be retired and the most surprising team in New York. The Guys also talk MLB Championship series(es) and make their predictions for the World Series even before the Yankees were officially swept. Off the Field (42:46), the Guys rock through another From the Land – All Ears new album review of Midnights by Taylor Swift, talk the almost end of House of the Dragon and … um… feet and the Worst Fantasy League Eva 2. Ye Haw! Episode 94! Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together after another stressful Sunday in the Land. At home the Guys recap an exciting weekend of playoff baseball for the Guardians in the ALDS and cross their fingers for a Game 5 upset of the Yankees before wondering aloud if maybe… just maybe… the Browns are actually a bad team after another disappointing loss. The Guys then move “On the Court” (24:29) for their final Day Drinkers – Sip of Win and Gold Cavs season preview and pick the new starting small forward, attend a team meeting at JB Bickerstaff’s request and predict the ceiling for the Cavs possible playoff run. Staying on the court the Guys pick their favorite non-Cav player in the NBA, try to figure out the top three teams in each conference and conduct their first ever Side Piece draft to select their picks for the other NBA teams they will follow this season. The Guys close the show heading “Off the Court” (47:02) talking the best NBA movies, player hosts on Saturday Night Live, timeout entertainment and celebrities they would most like to watch a game with courtside.
