Hey Hey Hey, Gerber, Dank and Chuck are back for another Monthly talking sports and more in the Land. The Guys start the show looking back at a dismal Browns season, the fans' anger at winning games and some of the highlights (?) of the 5-12 season. After that, the Guys close the opening segment of the show talking about the Browns’ coaching search, the decision to hire Todd Monken and their efforts to talk themselves into the move. In the second segment (24:06), the Guys look forward in 2026 and discuss an improving Cavs team and their Super Bowl picks and predictions. The Guys also look ahead in 2026 and their most anticipated album releases, movie premieres, and new seasons on the silver screen. The Guys close the show with the final segment (51:14) in a serious note. The Guys dive into their first ever From the Land – In Da Book Club and review Love Your Enemies by Arthur Brooks. The Guys discuss various chapters in the book and the serious effort to break down the culture of contempt in America and its discourse. The Guys discuss their own strengths and weaknesses regarding contempt and try to find a light at the end of what appears, at times, a very long dark tunnel. Stick around after the closing music (1:26:07) for the outtakes, some roller skating and Helen Keller discussions, pre-show nonsense and one last long question about the culture of contempt.

The guys get together for a special night, a special edition and some special jams. Gerber is joined by the ultimate guest, Miller, to talk all things Zach Bryan. The night after the release of Bryan's 25-track album, the Guys dig into the lyrics, the music, the instruments, the meanings and all the feelings. The Guys talk whether or not it's really a country album, lyrical universal truths and compare the album the 1995 Indians lineup. The Guys also try the first ever FTL – No Ears as Miller reacts live to one song on the album he never heard. Its either really interesting or 3:35 of nonsense. Miller and Gerber close the night with a Bourbon scale and their closing thoughts after a weekend spent … With Heaven on Top. Stick around after the closing music (47:52) for outtakes, bloopers and (a little) more Zach Bryan talk.
2025-01-13 - Oops. Miller's great idea to listen to a song live and react got us in some copyright hot water. As of this morning the episode is revised to take out the music portion of Miller's illegal idea.

All we want for Christmas… is a Show! Gerber, Danko, and Chuck are back for one final 2025 show and to spread holiday cheer. The Guys are celebrating Christmas, handing out their year-end Golden Towers and taking down some curated holiday bourbon cocktails. But, before the Guys can get to the fun, cheer, and awards, they need to sift through a bag of coal. The Guys start the show talking about the disappointing Cleveland Cavaliers, the problems and potential solutions, and the future head coach Kenny Atkinson. Things only get gloomier as the Guys move on to talk about another typically dismal Browns season with a slight glimmering light from an almost not loss against the Bills. The Guys talk whether or not the Browns are actually shitty and whether there is a real opportunity to grade Shedeur Sanders’ up-and-down rookie season. The Guys end the segment with a look at the final two games of this slog of a Browns season. In the second segment (30:49) the Guys finally get to crank up the cheer and hand out Golden Towers for 2025. The Guys hand out hardware for the best young Cleveland Athlete, best Cleveland defendant, the C-Town Goat the best moment of 2025 in Cleveland sports and some more dubious awards. In the final segment (56:00) the Guys welcome their fans into the draft room for the first ever From the Land Draft. The Guys make their selection for the top ten Christmas songs of all time, running the gamut from Bing Crosby to Mariah Carey to Billy Squire and the Waitresses. Once the draft is complete, the Guys close the night reviewing the night's bourbon cocktails. Stick around after the closing music (1:21:00) for bloopers, dinner with Bernie and (why not) some Springsteen.

Its Gettin’ Hot in Here… not really… Summer may be winding down, but the hot takes are just heating up (AI wrote that line). Gerber, Danko and Chuck return for another monthly show to wave goodbye to August and reluctantly acknowledge that fall is lurking around the corner like DeShaun Watson threatening to be healthy (also AI!). The Guys throw back to their old format and start the 10 at home with a deep dive into the Guardians' roller coaster summer– the ups, downs, more downs and then some hope in the Wild Card race. The Guys look back at impressive players for the season and what needs to happen to keep that last glimmer of wild card hope gleaming. For their second segment (25:37), the Guys go Into Purgatory to preview what promises to be a potentially very long Browns 2025 season. They break down the QB situation (spoiler: it's complicated) and make their bold predictions for a season that kicks offagainst the Bengals. Will 40-year-old Joe Flacco lead this team to glory, or are we in for another winter of discontent? (AI again!) The Guys search for the team strength and try to find a hopeful tone while searching for the Browns’first win of the season. The Guys close the show heading Off the Field (49:38), talking television, music, movies and more. The Guys start with their look at season 4 of The Bear (spoilers coming) and the best aspects of another strong season. The Guys then go All Ears and talk Zach Bryan's summer of new music before going for a Quick Run in the Cinema with the breaking news of the green light for aKnight Rider Movie. The Guys end the night talking big Taylor Swift summer news and the new most successful person from Cleveland rankings. Stick around after the closing music (1:21:01) for outtakes, bloopers and more NFL predictions.
Errors:
Chuck said Guardians Manager SteveVogt’s record as manager was 142-19. That’s not right. It was 142-119. Chuck was only 100 losses off.
Gerber said the Bear’s 3rd season came out this summer, it was actually the 4th. Gerber was only a whole season off.
Danko did fine.

Episode 5 brings the heat (literally, since Gerber’s AC is broken) as Gerber, Danko and Chuck power through June's humidity and welcome July's summer vibes. The guys start with the Guards' forgettable June and their weird vulnerability to lefties, dive into the wild NBA month with the Thunder winning it all, the Lakers selling for $10 billion, and the Achillies Tendon taking center stage for next season. Listen close for the first ever Emergency Drop In Pod when the Guys come back to the next night to talk about the Cavs Saturday roster moves. The Guys close the openingsegment saying goodbye to Nick Chubb. In segment two (42:53), the Guys get Lost in the Flood tackling Springsteen's massive "Tracks 2 – the Lost Albums" release - 7 albums, 82 songs, and 5 hours of lost material spanning 1983-2018.At the bottom of the bottle (1:40:53), the Guys close the show pouring one out for the closing IX Center, debate De Niro's dual role in "Alto Knights," reacting to Aaron Rodgers joining the Steelers, and delivering community updates featuring a badass nursing home patient and some really aggressive baseball card collectors. Stick around after the closing music (1:40:53) for bloopers, outtakes, and more assorted nonsense from the guys.

Long movie, long album… really long pod. Gerber, Danko and Chuck are back for another monthly show to say goodbye to May and welcome in June. The Guys start the 10 at the top with a look at the final (maybe?) Mission Impossible Movie – MI-8 the Final Reckoning- and talk for quite a while about Tom Cruise running, the history of the franchise, cameos, great action sequences and where this action classic lands on their bourbon scale. After that, the Guys look back at a tough May for the Guards, the new Mendoza Brothers and look ahead to the Guardians June schedule and what to expect. The Guys close out the top of the show dealing with the Cavs disappointing playoff exit, unfair criticism and potential silver linings. The Guys start the second segment (44:43) with their first All Ears music review of 2025. The Guys start with the Counting Crows latest album, the new stuff and the old, and give their (really pretty biased) reviews of the album. Next, the Guys try to get through all the songs on Morgan Wallen’s new album and discuss all 37 songs reaching the Hot 100 at the same time. The Guys close out the segment talking nonsense Browns news from OTAs and making their NBA Finals predictions. At the bottom of the bottle (1:09:19) the Guys wrap the show with their third segment of the night. The Guys start In Memorium and talk about the passing of George Wendt and the impact of his most famous role “NORM”. The Guys also talk about the passing of Buckeye Born Rick Derringer and his wild music career. The Guys keep talking, and talking, with a look at the downward popularity of late night tv and what may replace the format. The Guys then talk flying cars and close the show determining what was the dumbest day of May. Stick around after the closing music (1:34:15) for bloopers, outtakes, more Mission Impossible and assorted nonsense.

Friday? More like Fry-Yay! Gerber, Danko and Chuck are back for another monthly show to close out April and welcome the month of May. The Guys start with the a fun look back at the Cavs and a dominant first round sweep of the Miami Heat before looking ahead to what looks to be a tough second round matchup against the Pacers. The Guys also get to discuss the Guardians and their first month, the players that impressed and the concerns around Emanual Clase. The Guys close out the first segment In Memorium for the passing of Pope Frances (not their wheelhouse) and Val Kilmer (in their wheelhouse). The Guys roll into the second segment (36:02) and get stuck in the middle talking Browns pre-draft moves, their heartfelt apologies to the Browns after the big first round trade and a look at the quarterback competition coming for next season. The Guys also overindulge using the phrase “built for it”. The Guys close the segment talking about the gap between talking heads and NFL GMs concerning Shedur Sanders and his falling through the NFL Draft. In the final segment (58:34), the Guys really scrape the bottom of the barrel to talk White Lotus Finale and the battle of goods v. evil. The Guys go way outside relevance to discuss a 50 year old question about the Godfather (the most middle aged man thing to talk about other than a smoker) and hit up some interesting science topics before Gerber pitches a way for the Cavs to land Yannis. Stick around after the closing music (1:29:28) for outtakes, polar plunge talk and a very happy 50th to one of our favorites.
