In a 911 call on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, a neighbor reports two aggressive pit-bull-type dogs on the loose in NW Gainesville. The next day the dogs mauled a woman and killed her small dog.

A woman was attacked by two dogs while walking her own dogs on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019. The first call was at 11:38 a.m. The second at 11:39.

A NW Gainesville resident reports dangerous dogs in the area where a woman was mauled. This call came in after the mauling but indicates that the caller had contacted officials the previous day, as well.
