After a season of summer adventures and rest, we gather again as one community to kick off a new program year! Today we launch our annual theme, Made New by God’s Love. In our scripture passage today, Paul proclaims that in Christ we are a new creation – we are called to see ourselves and each other through the lens of God’s love, to live as people reconciled and renewed, and to share that gift with the world. As we gather, we’ll reflect on the transforming power of God’s love and celebrate the fresh beginnings God is making in us and through us!
