Hghlighting in Mark 1:29-39 the progression of Jesus from the Synagogue to healing Peter’s mother-in-law at home to praying in a desolate place the truth that Christ was found in each of those places, representing God’s willingness to be everywhere sought and found by those who seek to know Him and experience His healing Grace and Love.

Mary believes Jesus will be the Messiah and that his kingdom will have no end, despite not knowing how it will come to be (namely by his death and resurrection). For her, it will come to pass because God has revealed it. God often tells us about our purpose in life, but rarely if ever does he tell us how it will come to be. We must believe that with God, all things are possible.

Advent 3 Sermon encouraging us to choose faith over fear and focus first on God’s Kingdom, as Jesus teaches in Matthew Chapter 6, trusting that God knows and loves us and will provide for our needs in a way that truly satisfies.
