Sent to Alice Springs convent at the age of 5, Wayne talks about how the days in the convent as a young child shaped some of the characteristics he has today and carried through his youth around the rodeo scene and bars. Two (2) of Wayne's brothers were the last known diagnoses of Polio here in Australia.

Saddling up on his first Bronc a little younger than 15 years of age, Wayne got the itch for the saddle. Setting off to Drove Cattle a few short years later after deciding school wasn't for him, he talks about some of the hardest days on the road.

From riding Saddle Broncs to Droving in his youth, winning a Cannings Down title and an urge for a bar fight, we feel we've only just gotten a glimpse on Wayne's life lived From the Saddle.

Born in 1947, three quarter Chinese Blood and raised in Brisbane Queensland Australia. Darryl is now known as the King of the Australian Saddle Bronc Riders. From Brookfield Pony club to Maddison Square Garden (USA), Winning Calgary Stampede, Cheyenne and Pemberton to just name a few. 40 years on and at 73 years of age, Darryl is still one of the most well re-guarded, admired and globally respect Cowboys to ever buck from a chute.

Darryl gets emotional as he takes us back to where it all began in the 60's, the people who were a part of the journey and the achievements he made across the globe including forming a mateship with the late American Country Singer, Chris LeDoux.

Born in 1931, Alick Smith (Wadhi) is 1 of 16 children raised on the traditional land Barada at Bluff Central Queensland.

At just 9 years of age, Alick went to work as a stockman on a cattle station in an era where children worked as hard as the men. Always being on or around horses and handling cattle, this is where Alick grew a love and passion for Campdrafting and Rodeo.

Throughout this episode you'll hear Alick's voice from a far in the background. This episode isn't as polished as the others, but it's certainly pure.

Passing away at the age on 89, Alick is remembered as a legend. Picked to ride at the Calgary Stampede and being a head stockman at an early age. We get a glimpse of it all.

"Last year I was at an event in Victoria at a futurity on Finals Day on Metallic Storm. I woke up and I knew I wasn't OK. I couldn't feel my legs" "I was legged on, I held on and he (Metallic Storm) looked after me. We ended up 5th."

Sitting as the Vice President of the National Cutting Horse Association, Lynda was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis just 2 years ago. Shining light on what impacts this has had on her personally and competitively as a trainer and a rider. We get a great insight to Lynda's vision for the NCHA, her personal challenges, symptoms and mindset with her MS Diagnoses.

The town of Birdsville in Outback Queensland recorded a population of 140 in 2016. Come September every year the town welcomes anywhere from 6000 - 8000 people to the Birdsville Races.

Gary Brook joins us as the Vice President and paints a picture of the history and what it takes to put on a race meet and event to this scale in outback Queensland. Although the event is held in Birdsville, people are travelling from all over Australia economically impacting businesses and communities along the way. An impact that results in better roads, facilities and opportunities.

No matter your background or "status", going to Birdsville Races and rolling out a swag puts everyone on a level playing field. Gary and Kay talk about how this sets a tone for the event and how it becomes clear that stress levels are dropped for the simple reason there is nowhere else they need to be.

Raised on "Inga Downs" north of Dingo, Queensland Australia, Will Comiskey is a well travelled Cowboy.

At 28 years of age, Will sets off to compete in the Mongol Derby. Not once, but TWICE!

"I rode for a thousand kilometres and didn't see a fence."

Will paints a picture of what it was like to ride across the Mongolian land from checkpoint to checkpoint. He shares some of the challenges he faced and saw other contestant overcome.

Crossing the finish line in First position hand in hand with another two contestants speaks true testimony to Will's personality. Will then went on and placed equal fourth the second time around and awarded most successful Derby rider in History.
