THERE ARE SOME people whose lives sound like the plot of a TV drama—like, when you hear their stories, you find them hard to believe.

Shawn Rae was the product of a broken home. His father was out of the picture early and his mother struggled with her own demons, which meant that Shawn had little direction or restraints as a kid. He gravitated to gangs, drugs, and alcohol—and the pit got deep, eventually including human trafficking and addiction to cocaine and heroin.

Shawn’s salvation is nothing short of miraculous, and his message is simple: If Jesus can save him from where he was, Christ can reach you, too.
