Yannick Benjamin, a New York City-based sommelier, is the cofounder of Contento in East Harlem, which opened in 2021. He is also a co-founder and director of development for Wine on Wheels, an organization that helps recently disabled people. In episode 19, we talked about the health problems related to the treatment of a spinal cord injury. Its many health problems, you need to care when getting a spinal cord injury. A primary concern is UTIs! UTIS is simply a part of life for people with spinal cord injuries. In this episode, one of our hosts talks about his stay in hospital and what he felt during that period. It is very important to take care of yourself and eat clean when you have SCI, because it is easy to get UTIs. You have to drink plenty of water and try to use the cleanest method while using the bathroom. Tune in to episode 19, we're talking about it all!
