The command to be strong and courageous has been used in the church to the point of becoming cliche and easily dismissed. If God's Word remains true and relevant to our modern lives, how do we define courage and apply it to our lives today? The enemy would love to divide brothers and sisters in the faith. One of the reasons is because it can appear as though Christ is not powerful enough to unite us in spite of our differences. We as Christians need to fight for unity and remember that Jesus died, not only to reconcile us to the Father, but also to one another.
