Kari Leventopoulos is a recent high school graduate.  In her primary school years, she built her platform around youth digital responsibility.  The Pledge she wrote has been adopted by Shape the Sky, an educational and digital stewardship organization. Kari is heading to college to pursue a focus in medicine.

Tim Vosse is an expert in the senior living space.  In this episode, he talks about the presence of his family, a desire to make an impact, listening more than talking, understanding the end game, using your voice, and we have a deeper dive into elder care.

Tim is a St. Louis metro native, a CPA, with a B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University and an MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.  He worked in public accounting before moving into CFO roles for senior care facilities.  Throughout Tim's 20+ years at Bethesda and Friendship Village, his passion for Seniors grew stronger.  He recognized senior communities are wonderful places for Seniors to move into.  But one thing was concerning:  the number of Seniors who said “my kids made me move here” or “I would rather still live in my home”.  

It was clear that there is no current solution that helps Seniors keep their voice, live at home longer, with purpose and an enhanced quality of life.  Tim also saw family relationships break down, as roles change over time when families become caregivers.  

So, Tim created My Circle with a vision to help Seniors live in their home forever and enhance their quality of life as well as their families.  Evaluating the current situation and needs, My Circle problem solves and proactively plans for a future the family desires.

Dayton Crites is a senior outdoor recreation planner.  During his origin story, he shares the impact of his nomadic youth, finding the value in your time, having a place to do, the realization of why people pay for school,  a world not dependent on cars, work aligning with your passions, and connecting communities.

Dayton Crites is a creative and strategic planner. Trained as a landscape architect, he leads multidisciplinary teams to build plans that illustrate and articulate community and client visions. As a visual thinker, Dayton constantly strives to make the complex clear, and develop plans that foster collaboration and guide implementation.  This has resulted in physical trail networks and nationally recognized plans alike. 

His experience overseeing the development of community bike parks, designing trail systems at ski resorts, and building better streets for human scale transportation make him feel lucky to have the career he does.

Dayton is a certified planner by the American Planning Association. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning degree from Utah State University. His official undergraduate degree is in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, but his unofficial degree was in mountain biking.
