Story Transcript:

Sl: Sončni žarki so se razlivali po vinogradu, ko je Anže stal med starimi trtami v Goriških Brdih.
En: The sun's rays spread over the vineyard as Anže stood among the old vines in Goriška Brda.

Sl: Bil je čas trgatve, trenutek, ko se družina zbere in praznuje dediče z leti trdega dela, ujetega v vsakem zrnju grozdja.
En: It was harvest time, a moment when the family gathers to celebrate the legacy of years of hard work, captured in every grape.

Sl: V zraku je dišalo po sladkih grozdnih jagodah, povsod naokrog se je slišal smeh in klepet.
En: The air was filled with the scent of sweet grapes, and laughter and chatter could be heard all around.

Sl: Anže je gledal čez hribi in razmišljal o svoji prihodnosti.
En: Anže looked across the hills and pondered his future.

Sl: Vedel je, da pričakujejo, da bo prevzel skrb za vinograd.
En: He knew that expectations were for him to take over the care of the vineyard.

Sl: Najstarejši bratranec, ki naj bi ostal in skrbel za trte, tako kot njegovi starši in stari starši pred njim.
En: The eldest cousin, who was supposed to stay and care for the vines, just like his parents and grandparents before him.

Sl: A v njegovem srcu je tlela druga želja - življenje v mestu, delo v tehnologiji, nekaj, kar ga je vedno zanimalo.
En: But in his heart, another desire lingered - a life in the city, a career in technology, something that had always interested him.

Sl: Lana, njegova mlajša sestra, je veselo skakala med vrstami, polna energije in želje po raziskovanju sveta zunaj domačega vinograda.
En: Lana, his younger sister, was joyfully skipping between the rows, full of energy and a desire to explore the world beyond the family vineyard.

Sl: "Anže, pridi!" je veselo vzkliknila, ko je zagledala, da se ne premakne z mesta.
En: "Anže, come on!" she called out cheerfully when she saw him standing still.

Sl: Miha, bratranec, ki se je vrnil iz tujine, je pristopil k Anžetu.
En: Miha, a cousin who had returned from abroad, approached Anže.

Sl: "Kako se ti zdi, da si spet tukaj?" je vprašal Miha, njegov glas je bil poln nostalgije, a tudi dvoma.
En: "How does it feel to be here again?" he asked Miha, his voice full of nostalgia, yet also doubt.

Sl: "Rad imam naš vinograd," je odgovoril Anže. "Ampak..." Zastal je, besede so mu ostale na jeziku.
En: "I love our vineyard," replied Anže. "But..." He paused, the words stuck on his tongue.

Sl: Medtem ko so delali, so pogovori postajali glasnejši.
En: As they worked, the conversations grew louder.

Sl: Starača se je hitro širila, in Anže je čutil, da je trenutek pravi.
En: The hustle quickly spread, and Anže felt that the moment was right.

Sl: Srce mu je razbijalo.
En: His heart was pounding.

Sl: Stopil je pred družino.
En: He stepped forward in front of his family.

Sl: "Vem, kaj se pričakuje od mene," je začel, "ampak ne najdem se tukaj.
En: "I know what's expected of me," he began, "but I don't see myself here.

Sl: Želim si drugačno pot, želim v mesto, želim delati v tehnologiji."
En: I want a different path, I want to go to the city, I want to work in technology."

Sl: Vlada je obmolknila.
En: Silence fell.

Sl: Nato se je oglasila Lana, brez kančka dvoma v glasu.
En: Then Lana spoke up, with not a hint of doubt in her voice.

Sl: "Anže, tvoje sanje niso nič manj vredne od tega vinograda.
En: "Anže, your dreams are no less valuable than this vineyard.

Sl: Potrebuješ samo pogum, da slediš svojemu srcu."
En: You just need the courage to follow your heart."

Sl: Anžetova mama se je nežno nasmehnila.
En: Anže's mother smiled gently.

Sl: "Zmeraj bomo ponosni nate.
En: "We will always be proud of you.

Sl: Tukaj bo tvoj dom, ne glede na to, kam te vodi pot."
En: Here will be your home, no matter where your path leads you."

Sl: Anže se je zavedel, da štejejo tako korenine kot krila.
En: Anže realized that both roots and wings matter.

Sl: Lahko je pogumen in sledi svojim sanjam, ob tem pa še vedno časti svojo družino.
En: He could be brave and follow his dreams while still honoring his family.

Sl: Vinograd bo vedno del njega, a hkrati je bil svoboden, da raziskuje svet.
En: The vineyard would always be a part of him, yet he was free to explore the world.

Sl: In tako je, prvič v dolgo časa, Anže začutil lahkotnost, kako je biti zvest samemu sebi.
En: And so, for the first time in a long time, Anže felt the lightness of being true to himself.

Sl: Kmalu za tem se je srečal s sončnim zahodom, pripravljajoč se na svojo novo pot, vendar z vinogradom v srcu.
En: Shortly afterward, he met the sunset, preparing for his new journey, but with the vineyard in his heart.
