Ryan has served as the Assistant General Manager for the Kindersley Klippers junior hockey team since 2023. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated in 2024 and shares about his experiences there and how he went about gaining experience in hockey operations.

His experience led him to have six weeks to put together a team when he was hired by the Ontario Jr Reign. He quickly recognized the importance of community service, budgeting, and the business side as much as the on the bench and recruiting strategy in his role.
