Summary: When DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was an assistant U.S. Attorney, his intention was not just prosecution, it was promotion. Mayorkas wanted power and credit for other people’s work and made sure he drowned out those who helped him carve out his path up the political ladder to becoming an Obama appointee on immigration, and to now head of the Department of Homeland Security.
