HOT TAKE: Minecraft is fun for dads and kids. Definitely not a reason this was late posting (it totally is). Can you read Tolkien to your daughters and then field the "Why aren't there any girls in this book?" question? More Minecraft too, this may be a problem.

TOPIC: Sam and Scott have seen a Star War and Jeff has not. We talk about the movie at large, but no spoilers. People die in Star Wars and so we talk about how death in media affects our kids (hint: it’s more of a problem for the parents than the kids). Also, the animals you eat are dead.

HOT TAKE! Christmas in the dad trenches. Have you talked to your children about Santa? Not one, but two forays into Scott’s far too deep knowledge of Star Trek. Seriously get your Defiants right people. Anticipation is the devil and must be stopped.
