The "heroes" meet a backwards old man who offers some insight with a healthy helping of confusion, Chauvin finally scrounges up some work, and they learn some more about the true state of things in the quarry town of Trunton. 

The group just can't seem to find a comfortable spot to chill. If it's not dark shadows attacking them in the middle of the night, it's crazy gingers taking over the town the just got to. Hopefully our adventurers can hold it together until they find some money...or food.

While taking a brief respite; the fruit of their struggles and labor become evident and the gang discovers their new potential. It seems like they are growing more powerful. Now if they could just find someone to test it out on.
