This week we were blessed to have Pastor Donnie Griggs preach through Acts 8:26-40. In this passage we learn how Philip engaged with the eunuch in the dessert to share the love of Jesus. We are encouraged to live a life of mission to overflow in our lives, because of the gift and love of Jesus.

In this passage, we learn that Jesus goes into this broken world, to conquer the world that has allowed sorrow to flourish. Pastor Blake Burrough invites us to put our trust & hope in Jesus, and slowly over time God is bringing transformation. Through victory in Jesus we can see our sorrow turn into joy.

As Jesus continues this last conversation he has with his disciples before he is put to death we see that Jesus wants us as his friends, he chooses us as his friends, and he invites us into his mission. This leads to us loving Jesus and loving others like he has loved us.

In this sermon, John Murphy encourages us that Jesus desires union with us. He desires for us to be fruitful. That can only happen through remaining in him, abiding with him, making our home with him.

In this sermon, Pastor Blake Burrough encourages us that Jesus gives His peace for our troubled and fearful hearts. The peace of Jesus is rooted in the Father's love and expressed in the Spirit's work.

In this sermon, Pastor John Murphy encourages us that Jesus' love comes before our obedience. In eternity past God set his love on us. Jesus died for you before you did anything to try to earn his love. Through Jesus we have an advocate for us in heaven, and an advocate through His Holy Spirit here on earth.

In this Passage, Pastor John Murphy encourages us that Jesus has prepared the way. He has invited us into the work he is doing in the world. Our prayers matter. The King brings about his kingdom through the prayers of his people.
